About Me
Hello, and thanks for stopping my website!
I'm Lisa Bird (like if you were to re-"lease a bird" into the wild).
Growing up in a half-Japanese, half-American household, my sense of storytelling was shaped by western animation and Japanese anime- and I was fascinated how art transcends language and connects people from across the world.

My pursuits in art led me to eventually study Animation at Brigham Young University, where I fell in love with lighting and cinematography. In addition to contributing to meaningful storytelling, I love the duality of art and technology in lighting and am striving to improve both of those skills. I thrive in collaborative work environments and am self-motivated to solve problems, adapt quickly to new pipelines, and help my team in anyway I can.

I currently work at Paramount Animation as a Compositing Artist, and have previously worked at Nickelodeon and Frame Machine.
